A Beautiful Winter Wedding

The wedding we've been waiting for, since July 31st, has finally come and gone!

It was perfect! Everything turned out, showed up, was pulled off and the main thing happened, just like it was supposed to......Collin and Morgan are husband and wife. Whew!

They were as cute as ever and the reception was fun and lighthearted. There was much dancing, laughing, visiting and in the end, when Morgan got tired, we all went home.

David and I have certainly missed Collin this past week, but I think we're going to be ok.

Life has a way of preparing you for your children leaving the nest, so when they finally do, you're kind of used to them being gone most of the time anyway.

That's not to say that we aren't sad! We are! But, there is also so much joy and happiness surrounding this new season of life, that it seems silly to choose sorrow over joy.

The hardest part is closing up the house for the night and knowing that we don't have to wait up for him to come home. That takes a little getting used to. Thankfully, I know he and Morgan will take great care of each other, so I don't have to worry.

In the meantime, I'm staying busy with all the same things I've always been busy with. I just have less clothes to wash and now....another room to redecorate!

Until Next Time.....

Blessings!

Hi, thanks for stopping by!

Writing is a vulnerable thing. It's a challenge to share your emotions, thoughts and feelings with total strangers. But the reward comes when you hear from someone that says "I get it!" - "Me too!" or "That touched my heart and it's exactly what I needed to hear."

Then you know it was worth being vulnerable and it gives you the courage to do it again next time.

Let the posts
come to you.
