Thank you, Lord, for December!

Anyone else so happy to see December?

I mean, it's usually a festive month, but this's the saving grace we've all been looking for to close out this year of crazy!

With several December birthdays, shopping, finally some cold weather and anticipation of a wedding just the other side of the new year, I found myself wishing December would get here about 3 months back.

And it's finally here.

The presents are wrapped, with just a few more on the list still to buy. The house is warm and cozy and I'm all stocked up on the cocoa supply.

I'm reading my annual Christmas fiction and looking forward to our yearly tradition of "It's a Wonderful Life".

I've started writing out some goals for the new year and I'm cautiously optimistic that the world will find it's common sense again ( but I won't hold my breath).

Most importantly, I wake up every day so thankful to be alive and have Jesus as my savior, because if 2020 has proven anything, it's that we can't walk this earth without our best friend and forever companion - Christ, by our side. And really, who would want to? After all, without Him, December would just be another page on the calendar.

Merry CHRISTmas friends!

Until Next Time......

Hi, thanks for stopping by!

Writing is a vulnerable thing. It's a challenge to share your emotions, thoughts and feelings with total strangers. But the reward comes when you hear from someone that says "I get it!" - "Me too!" or "That touched my heart and it's exactly what I needed to hear."

Then you know it was worth being vulnerable and it gives you the courage to do it again next time.

Let the posts
come to you.
